April 2025 Member Spotlight: Susan Ford

I’m Susan L. Ford, a business and estate planning attorney with over 25 years of experience helping businesses and individuals navigate complex legal matters. Before founding Res Nova Law, I was a shareholder at one of Portland’s largest law firms. I am an AV Preeminent Peer Rated Attorney, recognized for my high ethical standards and legal expertise. I am actively involved in the legal and business communities, where I serve as Past Chair of the Oregon State Bar’s Business Litigation Section Executive Committee and participate in organizations like the Women Entrepreneurs Organization of Clark County and the Downtown Camas Association. I earned my law degree from Georgetown University and my bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University and I am admitted to practice in Oregon, Washington, and multiple state and federal courts. Outside of work, I enjoy cycling through wine country, spending time with my family (including my chihuahua, Rudy), and reading about entrepreneurship and law firm management.
